Wi-Fi Sense or Nonsense?

The newly released Windows 10 operating system comes with a feature called “Wi-Fi Sense” that I think is pretty questionable from a security standpoint.  The basic idea is that, under Windows 10, when you connect to a wireless network for the first time, you have an opportunity to “share” you new wireless connection with your family, friends, and coworkers. I consider this be to a security concern.  The problem as I see it is that you share your connection to ...

9/11 – Not Forgotten

9-11Today is the 14th anniversary of a day that I will never forget.  I was driving home from dropping my son off at school, and listening to the radio when they started reporting that a plane had flown into the World Trade Center.  I made it home in time to see the second plane crash into the second tower on television.  Still gives me chills as I write this.

Happy SysAdmin Day!

Wait… what exactly is SysAdmin Day? Oh, it’s only ...
