Talk Like A Pirate Day 2018

Tomorrow is International Talk Like A Pirate Day.  In the pantheon of Geek Holidays, Talk Like A Pirate Day is one of my favorites.  I mean, how often do you get a reason wear a tricorn hat, carry a saber, perch a parrot on your shoulder and walk around saying “Aaaarrrh” and “Yaaarrrh, matey.”

The other Geek Holidays?

  • March 14 – Pi Day (3-14)
  • May 4 – Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you)
  • Last Friday in July – SysAdmin Day
  • August 1 – World Wide Web Day
  • September 19 – Talk Like a Pirate Day.
