Sunday Rememberance – Armistice Day

Armistice Day is now known as Veteran’s Day. This was the day the officially ended World War 1 – “the war to end all wars.”   Unfortunately, if you know your history, it was more like the war to start a century of wars.  Today is the 100th anniversary of the end of hostilities in World War 1.  There is a great article on the Smithsonian website that would be a good read if you have the history bug.

And to all veterans, past, present, and future – Thanks for your service and sacrifice.
