Sunday Funnies: Now You Can Buy Pete’s Famous Schweddy Balls

ITSUGAR_SNL_SCHWEDDY_BALLS_CANDY_COMPOk, if you are not a Saturday Night Live fan, you won’t know what this stuff is, but just in time for SNL’s 40th Anniversary, SNL has teamed up with candy store chain ItSugar to provide a host of SNL products from made famous on the comedy show’s skits.

I can remember when I was in college, I basically quit going out on Saturday nights just so I could watch SNL.  So that might explain the whole lack of a girlfriend thing.  Hmmm…. Pretty sure I started with the first season, with Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Gilda Radner, Garrett Morris, Laraine Newman, and John Beluchi.

Anyway, products that will be available include:

  • Schweddy Balls
  • Colon Blow cereal
  • colonDebbie Downer hand sanitizer
  • Drunk Uncle and Coneheads chocolate bars
  • Gilly Sour Gummy Hearts
  • Hans and Franz water bottles
  • Talking Stephan doll

Products go on sale September 13 and will be available for gift giving through the holidays.

For more information and pictures go to this USA Today article or the ItSugar web site, although it appears the SNL products are not on the web site quite yet.
