Sunday Funnies – Labor Shortage

Comedy, satire, opinion, political humor, and stories for your entertainment

Some fast food chains in my area, notably Arby’s and Burger King are still not offering dining room service inside.  The claim is that they can’t find the staff.  My suspicion is that they discovered that they are more profitable running just drive-through service.  The very first McDonald’s in my neighborhood opened in the early 60’s and offered one kind of hamburger, one kind of potato (the truly immortal original McDonald’s French Fries) a choice of soft drinks and malts. It offered walk up counter service, no tables, you ordered your food and took it home, ate in the car, or had an impromptu picnic on the lawn.

It looks like other industries are having labor shortages too.
