Sunday Funnies – Fourteeners

Comedy, satire, opinion, political humor, and stories for your entertainment

Here’s a blast from my past.  As a teenager, I was sent to a summer camp in Buena Vista Colorado.  I was in the mountaineering program, and summited a few of the Collegiate Peaks, Mt Harvard, Mt Columbia, and Mt Antero. All of these mountains are over 14,000 feet tall.   I drove across Independence Pass to Aspen. White water rafted on the Arkansas River.  I returned as an adult and stayed in Leadville.  We took the incline railway from Aurora Springs to the top of Pike’s Peak.  I love this part of the world.  This map took me back.
