Had a rather hilarious experience with the United States Postal Service. One of my training partners sent me a paycheck, but it REALLY got lost in space. Take a look at the image I pulled from the USPS tracking app. It was helpful that they sent it certified mail. Starting at the bottom, this envelope left thr Southfield Michigan PO in June 12. Then it bounced back and forth FIVE TIMES between the Detroit and Pontiac Regional Facilities until June 24. It disappeared until July 5th, when it finally reached St Paul. The last posting hs the enveloped “In transit” on July 10. From there is should have gone to the Stillwater MN PO for delivery. It was in our Bayport mailbox two days later, on July 12, a full month after it was posted on June 12.
When it finally arrived, the envelope was in good condition, I was afraid it got shredded onn the way and that was the reason for the delay, but that was not a factor.
Thanks USPS for what was an episode of “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?”
